Most relationships go through ups and downs, this is a normal part of life, however on occasions relationships can get stuck and this is when a skilled, impartial counsellor can help bring clarity. When couples are experiencing difficulties, there is usually a mix of different emotions; anger, resentment, low self-esteem, etc, and it can be difficult to see the big picture. A counsellor will help you both make sense of all the emotions and enable you to see a future together again. On occasions, a future together is not always the best way forward for whatever reasons, the counsellor will help you gain clarity in this circumstance and can be with you through the separation process, if appropriate.

Counselling provides a safe, supportive environment where you can discuss your issues, no matter how trivial they may seem. Sometimes, when trivial issues are left they can escalate which in turn may cause greater distress and may end in relationship breakdown.
